Level 1 Never skied before.
Level 2 I have skied on a plastic or indoor slope a few times or am a nervous 1-week skier; I am happy in my snow snowplough
Level 3 I can link snowplough turns on greens and easy blue runs and sometimes my skis are parallel at the end of the turn.
Level 4 I am capable of skiing parallel on most blue runs but get it comes a bit unstuck on steeper, narrower or icy slopes.
Level 5 I can ski on red runs with skis parallel most of the time. I like skiing reasonable fast but still struggle if it gets bumpy, steep or icy. I have tried off-piste but find it hard going
Level 6 I am confident on reds and most blacks but my technique gets a bit ropey on the harder blacks and off piste.
Level 7 I am confident on most terrain but want to perfect my technique and broaden skills on more difficult terrain, steeps, bumps, performance carving.

What's the difference?
Off-piste is considered skiing in resort but away from the pistes and marked trails.Backcountry is ski outside the ski area no matter how you get there.
Ski touring is using your legs to get up the mountain, on touring skis, and then skiing down. This is mostly done out of resort but it is not unusual to use lifts for some of the accent.
We specialise in these disciplines and are more than happy to help you achiever your off-piste skiing goals. -
For morning lessons we will meet you at your accommodation or at the bottom of the ski lift.
For pick ups at your property we can transport 4 clients maximum.
For lessons starting later in the day we will meet you on the mountain.
The exact meeting point will be confirmed the day before the lesson.
PLEASE NOTE: We may have other lessons on the same day as yours so WE will dictate the area of the lesson. If you have to have your lesson in a specific area please let us know when you are booking your lessons.
